““The best revenge is not to be like your enemy.” – Marcus Aurelius”
You’ve probably experienced a situation in your life where someone really got under your skin. So much so, that all you really want is to take revenge on them for whatever it is they did to you. Stoicism teaches us that it’s not the things that happen [to us], but rather our opinions of them that ultimately determine how they affect us. The best way to take revenge, is not to do what was done to you. If you really want to “get even”, ignoring people usually suffices and in cases it does not, try not to let emotions govern you, but remain calm and use reason to fix your problems with any given person.
Have a good one!

Jeffrey, Love your “Stoic Shorts”! I agree with your response to the words of Marcus Aurelius. “If you really want to ‘get even’, ignoring people usually suffices and in cases it does not, try not to let emotions govern you, Phil
