Bren and I have been busy today! I was afraid I might not be able to post anything today, but here it is! Hide the Paint #2! 😉 Today we finished painting the kitchen and we assembled a brand new storage rack, perfect for all of our cooking books and tools! 🙂

The walls we painted over used to be white, but we found this great purple colour that wasn’t too dark and looks great with the navy blue that we used for all the woodwork in the kitchen two days ago.

Here you can see the doorway to our living room. The repainted wall and the brand new rack! Finally we have some more space now 🙂

A closer look at the storage rack 🙂 There’s still plenty of room left for more cooking books! Who knows, one day we’ll add one of our own creation to it 😉

And here’s a closer look at the corner with the stove. We love the new spices rack too and the purple really makes the yellow tiles stand out more!

Lovely isn’t it? ^_^ We think it’s a colour you don’t see in a kitchen at all, so this really makes it quite unique and it feels like the room is new and fresh again! So, what do you think? Let us know in the comments!
