Yesterday Bren surprised me with something so incredibly cool I just had to share it with you guys. She was visiting a local thrift shop and by chance she founds this treasure!

It’s a Star Wars – Return of the Jedi Pop-Up Book! When she handed it to me, I couldn’t believe in how well a state this book was. It’s from 1983 and in really good condition. All the movable parts are still working!

Return of the Jedi is one of my favourite Star Wars movies and after The Empire Strikes Back one I have the fondest childhood memories of. I loved the scenes with Jabba the Hutt and the final battle between Luke and Darth Vader was just awesome.

I still can’t believe Bren managed to find this Pop-up book in such good state! This book is nearly as old as I am and it might be slightly discoloured, but seeing all of the movable parts still working is nothing short of a miracle.

This book has been given a special spot in my Star Wars section of our bookcase and I’ll be on the lookout for more like these, for sure! ^_^
