It’s been a while since I did a LEGO review! But that doesn’t mean I’m not building, of course 😉 Last week I thought I’d pick a quick and easy build from my unbuilt collection, and since I still haven’t built all of the Star Wars Brickheadz, I thought I’d go with the Princess Leia Organa one.
The box contains two bags of bricks, one with large and one with small bricks, a base for the Brickheadz figure and the instruction manual. As you can see on the front image this version of Leia is her iconic look from Episode IV: A New Hope.
The bottom half of the figure’s body is done. I love the details on the belt!
The signature braids consist of four different pieces. I was surprised nothing went on top of these for extra support, but I suppose it’s not really necessary. The back side with the hood down is also done nicely.
And here’s the finished figure, including Leia’s blaster pistol. All in all I like this Brickheadz figure, but in all honesty, this is probably my least favourite of the entire series so far. While I do like Leia, I always thought her later iterations were better than the one we see in Episode IV: A New Hope. Still, as a collector of all the Star Wars Brickheadz, this one needed to be in my collection!
Overall this is a classic Brickhead that needs to be in any fan’s collection. The only ones left to build now are the Luke & Yoda set and the Stormtrooper, both sets look great, so expect their reviews soon!
