Review: LEGO® Brickheadz Belle & Beast

I started collecting Star Wars Brickheadz when they were first released and I’ve got all of them. They’re not all built yet, but once I get some more shelf space I’m sure I will start doing that. My girlfriend Bren loves Beauty & the Beast and when we heard there’s a Brickhead set of Belle and Beast we decided to add them to our collection.

Brickheadz are typically not that complex to build, but they’re a lot of fun to create. We decided that Bren would build Belle and I would build Beast.

The contents of the Beast box are inside two small bags. And as you can see the base is unusually small for a Brickhead.

Belle’s box also contains two bags with bricks, and a large base. Both instruction booklets aren’t particularly thick and you’ll be done in 34 steps for Beast and 41 for Belle.

Here I was about halfway building Beast. I never organise the bricks, because I like searching for the right pieces in between the pile. Bren, however, likes to organise the bricks first and then build. We decided it would be fun to see who was finished first. 🙂

Here I finished Beast. Bren took only a little bit longer to finish Belle. Bobbie, one of our cats was watching us build in the meantime. 😉

And here’s the lovely couple finished! Took us both about twenty minutes to finish. All in all two very fun builds you can do as an in between “snack” if you’re looking to build something fun!

And here they are in our bookcase. Along with all the Disney books Bren has in her collection! If there’s going to be more cool Disney princesses we might add them in the future, although Bren hopes for a Maleficent set in the future!

I hope you enjoyed this LEGO review and that it might inspire you to get one of these wonderful sets. Brickheadz are fun to build and are a great addition to your book shelves, or collection of figurines!

Happy building!
