Hello everyone! It’s been an exciting weekend for me. I did some work on my study at home, which is slowly turning into a small studio and, according to my better half, a true man cave. I’ll let you decide based on the picture below which you deem to be true, haha.

The Podcast

Last weekend I’ve recorded and started editing the first episode of my Stoic podcast. All that’s still needed is an intro/outro tune and then find a good publishing service. I’m also planning my next episode, which will the first full episode. I aim for episodes to be about 20-30 minutes or so, but I still have to explore what works well. Personally I find Podcasts with 1 hour episodes to be quite an investment and unless the topic is really interesting, I find smaller podcasts way more favourable. Especially if the podcast has a theme and topics can be handled in more bite sized bits. So, yes! I did it, I finally recorded what I wanted and I’m very excited about it!

The (Retro) Video Game Streaming

I’ve also finished my setup for streaming video games, which I have created new accounts for on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/r3troj3ff) and a brand new Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/r3tr0j3ff/

I even used the power of AI to create an avatar. I thought it was quite suitable, given the content I’m going to create, mostly. It’s my fond hope to greet a lot of fellow enthusiasts on Twitch. The first game I’ll be streaming is Metroid from the NES, including RetroAchievements! https://retroachievements.org/user/R3TR0J3FF. I’ve created a new account, so I have to start from scratch, which should be a lot of fun!

I plan to post all things video game related on my new page, including reels and maybe even some clips from live streams. Who knows? It’s all fun and especially games! 😉

My February goals

Later this week I’ll post an update on how I am enjoying monthly goal setting. Things have been a bit slow to start in January, but overall I’m happy with my current progress. I’ll happily share everything with you later this week!
